What is a Single-Drum Dryer and how does it work?
Last Updated:
A Single-Drum Dryer is a rotating cylinder that uses high-temperature gas to dry materials with high moisture content. Wet material enters the slightly inclined, rotating drum and is repeatedly lifted and dispersed by specially designed internal blades, creating a uniform curtain of material. This maximizes contact with the hot gas stream, enabling efficient heat exchange and moisture evaporation until the desired dryness is achieved.
